Biography
Landon Vivian leads the Oakland office of The Barnes Firm, where he and a team of experienced trial lawyers represent injury victims across the Bay Area and throughout California.
With more than 15 years in personal injury law and hundreds of cases behind him, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death, Landon has developed a practice philosophy built on one conviction: the clearer the story, the stronger the result.
That belief drives his commitment to visual case strategy, a methodical approach to building each client’s case not just through legal arguments, but through compelling visual narratives that make the full impact of an injury impossible to ignore. Whether preparing for deposition, mediation, or trial, Landon and his team invest the time to map out every dimension of a client’s experience – the pain, the disruption, the losses that don’t always show up in medical records — and present it in a way that demands accountability.
Landon is known among his colleagues and clients for preparation that goes beyond the expected. He believes the difference between a good outcome and the right outcome often comes down to how deeply an attorney understands the case and how effectively they communicate that understanding to the people making decisions. Insurance adjusters, defense counsel, judges, and juries all respond to clarity, and Landon builds every case with that in mind.
At his core, Landon is driven by a simple principle: every person who has been hurt by someone else’s negligence deserves an advocate who will treat their case like it matters — because it does. He takes pride in guiding clients through one of the most difficult chapters of their lives, helping them understand the process, and fighting to secure the recovery they need to move forward.
