Laura Phillips

Laura Phillips has been a stalwart advocate for seriously injured individuals in Pennsylvania for nearly two decades, focusing her practice on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. A partner at the law firm of Phillips Froetschel, LLC, based in Pittsburgh, she has skillfully represented clients through all stages of trial and appeals in cases involving wrongful death, birth injuries, surgical errors, delayed diagnoses and motor vehicle collisions. Obtaining her Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University in 2001, Ms. Phillips was a member of their International Politics Honors Program. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004. During her time in law school, she was a legal research and writing fellow, and she represented clients in the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and for the District of Columbia Circuit as a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic. Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Phillips has secured substantial verdicts and settlements for her clients in a variety of cases, including those involving delayed cancer diagnoses, surgical errors, and automobile accidents. Actively engaged with several professional organizations, she contributes her skills and knowledge to the Washington County Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. Ms. Phillips has consistently been recognized for her outstanding legal skills and ethical standards. In addition, she has been honored with memberships in the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
