Abrigo is a founding attorney of Genesis Family Law, and a Certified Family Law Specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. With over 20 years of experience practicing law in California, she is known for her sharp litigation skills, commitment to legal education, and leadership in the family law community. Ms. Abrigo is the incoming Chair of the Family Law Section Executive Committee (FLEXCOM) of the California Lawyers Association, where she also leads the Awards, Sponsorship, and Mentorship subcommittees. She is deeply committed to mentoring early-career attorneys, expanding access to education, and supporting inclusion in the profession. She is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California. Her litigation background includes jury trials, multi-day bench trials, contempt proceedings, and oral arguments before both the Ninth Circuit and the California Court of Appeal.
