Lisa D. Simantob, Esq. is the founder of Simantob Law Group and a Los Angeles business, real estate, and employment attorney with more than 30 years experience. She represents individuals, institutional lenders, developers, and California business owners. She began her legal career at the international firm of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where she served global brands and national financial institutions. Ms. Simantob focuses on Business Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Real Estate, Intellectual Property, and Employment Defense. She serves as Outside General Counsel to emerging, mid-market, and multinational enterprises. Lisa D. Simantob, Esq. (State Bar #143848)  is the Founder and Lead Counsel of Simantob Law Group. Her practice is defined by strategic precision, high-stake problem-solving, and the personalized attention of a boutique firm. Ms. Simantob’s legal career is grounded in academic excellence at the nation’s leading institutions. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with High Honors with a double major in Political Science and French. She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, graduating with High Honors and Order of the Coif, a distinction reserved for the top 10% of law graduates nationwide. While at Loyola, she served as an editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. Ms. Simantob began her legal career in 1989 at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, which was one of California’s most prestigious international law firms. In January 2000, she founded Simantob Law Group to provide strategic legal counsel through a client-focused and results-driven boutique model. For more than three decades, Ms. Simantob has served as trusted counsel to a diverse portfolio of clients — from individuals to high-growth startups and multinational corporations. Drawing on her experience, she brings a deep understanding of the business-owner mindset, effectively bridging legal strategy with commercial realities.
