Biography
Kirby Sailors is an Associate Attorney at Banks and Jones, where he began his legal career as a law clerk before joining the firm full-time after earning his J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University – Duncan School of Law and successfully passing the bar exam.
Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Kirby earned his B.A. in Psychology with minors in Business and Philosophy from Sewanee: The University of the South. His academic background helps him understand clients’ perspectives and approach each case with practical problem-solving in mind. During law school, he served on the Moot Court Board, participated in the Alternative Dispute Resolution club, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for “The Successful Lawyer,” experiences that strengthened his communication and advocacy skills and continue to shape his client-centered approach to practice.
Outside the office, Kirby enjoys staying active through regular workouts and other forms of physical activity, spending time outdoors, and fishing. These interests keep him grounded and connected to the Knoxville community he is proud to serve.
