Growing up in a Latino household (in Boston), I was the designated translator for my parents. I navigated the complex, often intimidating world of legal documents and high-stakes conversations before I even had a driver’s license. That experience taught me firsthand how the “language of the law” could exclude people, and I saw how much power came with finally being understood. I founded Cruz Legal, P.A. to be the advocate I wished my parents had: someone who speaks your language, respects your heritage, and ensures you are never left in the dark. My career was built on the front lines of high-stakes litigation. While those years in the courtroom sharpened my skills, they also reinforced my belief that the best legal strategy is the one that prevents a fight or resolves it with dignity.
