Biography
Mark Pionessa brings over a decade of diverse legal experience to the courtroom, making him exceptionally qualified to serve as County Judge. His career spans both plaintiff and defense work, giving him a balanced and thorough understanding of the legal system.
Currently an attorney at Meldon Law, Mark focuses on personal injury litigation. He has also served at respected firms including Douglas & Douglas, Carr Allison, Stone Glass & Connolly, and Bachara Construction Law Group, where he handled a wide range of civil litigation — from motor vehicle and trucking accidents to construction and real property disputes. Earlier in his career, he represented the State of Florida Department of Revenue, managing a large caseload and conducting over 1,000 hearings across North Central Florida.
Mark is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a proud member of the Third Judicial Circuit Bar Association and a former associate of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court.
