Being involved in the legal system can be one of the most difficult experiences in their life for someone. Melissa brings compassion and understanding to help her clients navigate the complex nature of their involvement in the legal system. Melissa takes the time to sit down and listen to her clients’ concerns and needs, then provides them legal advice tailored to their specific needs. Melissa will advocate for her clients and their best interests in and out of Court.
Melissa has over 20 years of experience as an attorney, with over 10 years of experience in family law, including cases involving divorce, custody, and post decree matters. Additionally, Melissa has over 10 years of experience working with families and youth involved in abuse, dependency and neglect cases. Melissa has been a Guardian Ad Litem for over fifteen years, working with families in both private custody cases and children’s services cases. This unique experience and training allow her to better help her clients understand and navigate challenging custody cases.
