Michael Mirer

Michael Mirer is a skilled criminal defense attorney who has established a highly successful criminal defense trial practice in South Florida. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Mirer was an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County where he prosecuted all levels of crime and was ultimately appointed to the Career Criminal Robbery Unit. He has extensive courtroom experience, including over 100 trials. Mr. Mirer handles all state and federal criminal cases and is experienced in handling all types of felony and misdemeanor charges. Attorney Mirer received the honor of being selected for The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers for 2014! This award recognizes Attorney Mirer as one of the top criminal trial lawyers in South Florida, and is a prestigious achievement. In 2015, Mr. Mirer has lectured on trial techniques for presentations given by the American Association of Addiction headed by former United States Drug Czar Robert DuPont. He has also given lectures on cross-examination to other attorneys as part of a Continuing Legal Education program and has served as a judge for mock trial competitions at the University Of Miami School Of Law. He was most recently asked to join a panel of experts to provide legal opinions for criminal law treatises.
