Biography
Court & Michelle Will are a husband & wife criminal defense firm with over 45 years of combined experience. They have successfully resolved thousands of cases and truly care about each and every one of their clients. They keep a manageable caseload and work tirelessly to ensure their clients are receiving the best possible outcome.
Michelle was a former prosecutor and first met Court when he was a defense attorney in Southern California. After getting married, they immediately launched Will & Will in California. Success came quickly. Their dynamic and thorough approach to the practice of law resulted in excellent results for their clients and a lot of local and national publicity.
Despite having a thriving practice in California, neither Michelle nor Court had any real roots there. Rather, Court was born and raised in Tacoma, and always wanted to move back home to the great Pacific Northwest. They ultimately did move back to the Seattle area and re-opened Will & Will here. They now proudly fight for the accused and injured throughout Washington State.
Court was born and raised in Tacoma and has had an interest in the legal system ever since he can remember. While he always knew he would ultimately make his home in the Pacific Northwest, the draw of the sun and surf beckoned him to Southern California where he completed his undergraduate and law degree at Pepperdine University. He returned home to build his career in the courtrooms of Washington, where he has built his practice around high stakes cases: felony sex offenses and serious and violent felonies, along with juvenile and federal matters. These are cases that can shape the rest of a person’s life, and he brings the preparation, discretion, and trial experience they demand to every one of them.
Following internships at multiple Prosecutor’s offices, the FBI, and the United States Attorney’s Offices, Court initially decided to stay in Southern California after school and cut his teeth as a criminal defense attorney in the trenches of the most overburdened court system in the country.
