Biography
Mike Streich is a trial lawyer and co-founder of Greenberg Streich Injury Lawyers, where he handles complex and high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases across Texas. His mission is straightforward: fighting for working people and families against some of the largest corporations and insurers in the country.
Mike grew up in Kingwood, Texas, and earned his bachelor's degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Silver Spurs—the group responsible for caring for BEVO, UT's legendary longhorn steer. He went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where he served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and competed on the mock trial team.
Before representing injured individuals, Mike spent nearly a decade on the defense side, representing corporations and major insurance syndicates, including Lloyd's of London, in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. He also worked in-house for an offshore construction company, advising on contractual matters, litigation, and corporate strategy. That background gave him a deep understanding of how corporate defendants and insurers think, strategize, and value cases. Today, he uses that insider knowledge to stay two steps ahead—anticipating their tactics and turning their playbook against them.
Mike's practice focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including oilfield and refinery accidents, offshore and maritime injuries, large commercial vehicle crashes involving 18-wheelers and company vehicles, and catastrophic workplace injuries resulting from unsafe conditions or corporate negligence.
He is admitted to practice in all Texas state and federal courts. His work has earned recognition from his peers—Mike has been selected as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
