Biography

Hall Attorneys filed a putative class action against Instructure, the company behind Canvas LMS, alleging the Canvas security failure exposed student information and messages among Canvas users while disrupting finals-week access to course materials, study materials, and online exams. A separate July 12 filing alleges direct-account educators lost access to educator-owned course content after the platform shutdown. On April 21, 2026, Hausfeld LLP and Hall Attorneys, P.C. filed a 45-page putative class action against Mercor, Delve AI, and LiteLLM alleging that Mercor’s AI-driven labor platform centralized recorded interviews, facial biometrics, background-check dossiers, tax and banking data, and personal-device screenshots, and that a LiteLLM supply-chain compromise exfiltrated roughly four terabytes of that data.
