Patrick Cates

Patrick Cates is a disability attorney and partner at Silver & Archibald who helps people get financial assistance and reclaim their lives when medical conditions cut off their work and ability to make a living. Several government programs and insurance policies exist for workers with illnesses and injuries: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Veterans’ Disability, private long-term disability insurance, and workers’ compensation for on-the-job injuries. Patrick helps workers with all of these kinds of claims. He has two decades of legal experience. After law school, he started his legal career as an attorney for Georgia Legal Services. He helped people with Social Security benefits, unemployment benefits, Medicaid appeals, landlord–tenant disputes, and family law. It was a natural fit for Patrick to join the Silver & Archibald disability law firm in 2014.
