Biography

Patrick Link has been recognized as one of the preeminent criminal defense attorneys in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the surrounding counties. I represent people charged with DUI, simple drug possession, drug possession with intent to deliver (PWID), drug conspiracy, illegal possession of firearms (VUFA), assault, robbery, theft, homicide, rape and numerous other criminal offenses. Mr. Link completed his undergraduate studies at Lafayette College before graduating from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law as a member of the Dean’s List. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Link took a position as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware for two years, where he prosecuted numerous criminal cases as a member of the domestic violence and child abuse unit. Patrick Link then returned to Philadelphia where he was hired as an assistant district attorney under the Honorable Lynn Abraham. He prosecuted thousands of cases in the office and was assigned to the major trials unit before being promoted to the gun violence task force, a specialized unit within the office that focused on the prosecution of straw purchasers of firearms as well as other crimes committed with guns including shootings, rapes, robberies and major drug offenses. Many of these cases garnered significant media attention. Prior to being assigned to those two elite units, Mr. Link also spent time in the Municipal Court unit, the juvenile unit, and in gun court. He has literally tried (not merely “handled”) virtually every type of case on the books in the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia and in the federal court system.
