He has a perfect 10.0 rating from Avvo and has been rated by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2023 through 2019. Patrick has achieved not guilty verdicts after jury trials where his clients were charged with kidnapping; sexual assault; motor vehicle homicide; strangulation; domestic assault and battery; operating under the influence; armed burglary; carrying a firearm; aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and other significant crimes. He also has won pre-trial motions to exclude evidence in drug and firearm cases resulting in dismissal of the charges. Patrick’s outstanding success in the courtroom is a direct result of his personal commitment to his clients and his energetic and steadfast approach. His clients are served well by his skill and counsel. Before entering private practice Patrick spent five years as a Massachusetts state staff attorney for the Committee for Public Counsel Services. At CPCS, Patrick received valuable training and trial experience. He represented criminal defendants in Massachusetts courts charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes. According to Patrick, “My time at CPCS gave me valuable insights into the criminal justice system and how disadvantaged people are adversely impacted. I also learned how to evaluate and defend a case, and often obtained favorable results for my clients.” Patrick remains committed to assisting those less fortunate, and does so by taking cases in the superior court for Suffolk Lawyers for Justice, where he represents defendants charged with serious felonies.
