Peyton Holmes Porter Griffee

A partner at the Sweat & Griffee Law Firm in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Peyton Holmes Porter Griffee provides judicious legal representation to clients facing a wide variety of issues, ranging from complex personal injury accidents such as motor vehicle collisions to contentious estate planning and administration matters, as well as probate. Mr. Griffee completed his undergraduate studies cum laude at Georgetown College and went on to attend the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. During his time in law school, he was a member of the National Moot Court Team and an Ordered Liberty fellow. After receiving his Juris Doctor cum laude, he obtained his license to practice across all Kentucky state courts. With prior experience serving as a prosecutor for the Hardin County Attorney’s Office in Elizabethtown, Mr. Griffee understands how to navigate stressful and oftentimes frustrating circumstances surrounding any given case. He now uses the exposure he gained to help his clients move on with their lives from the dark shadow cast by their injuries, as well as protect their assets for their loved ones. Furthermore, he is a judge advocate in the United States Army and serves as an officer, allowing him to use his expansive practical knowledge on behalf of his fellow men-in-arms. Outside his law practice, Mr. Griffee maintains close affiliations with prominent legal organizations such as the Kentucky Bar Association and the Republican National Lawyers Association. Moreover, he is actively involved in the Kentucky House of Representatives, where he represents both Bullitt and Hardin counties.
