Biography
Attorney Evan Guthrie is a lawyer and owner of Evan Guthrie Law Firm.
Evan was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Evan graduated from Bishop England High School and the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC with a bachelors degree in Political Science. Evan attended and graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, SC and was named to Dean’s List.
Mr. Guthrie founded the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in the same year he graduated law school, passed the South Carolina Bar Exam, and was sworn in.
Evan Guthrie is currently a member of the Dorchester 2 School Board in Dorchester County, SC after being elected by voters in November 2016.
Evan has served as the Chair for the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division Habitat For Humanity Wills Clinic Committee and the Co-Chair for SC Bar YLD Color of Justice Committee. Attorney Guthrie has been named Star of the Quarter seven times by the Young Lawyers division of the South Carolina Bar. Evan is a graduate of the South Carolina Bar Leadership Academy. Evan Guthrie has also been awarded a Pro Bono Publico Attorney Volunteer Certificate Of Appreciation by the South Carolina Bar.
