Rebecca J. Britton

Rebecca Britton is a certified mediator with over 30 years of experience in personal injury and wrongful death cases. She was a partner at Britton Law in Fayetteville until the firm merged with Maginnis Howard in 2020. Today, she is Of Counsel at Maginnis Howard Fayetteville. Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Britton was selected for inclusion on the list of North Carolina Super Lawyers Top 50 Women Attorneys from 2007 to 2009. She was also the recipient of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers (NCATL) Kelly Crabtree Award in 2002, as well as awarded one of the Outstanding Women of the 20th Century in 2000. She is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the North Carolina and American bar associations and the American Association for Justice. Ms. Britton received her law degree from Campbell University School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Barristers. She is licensed to practice before the state bar of North Carolina, both the Eastern and Middle Districts of the U.S. District Courts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals 4th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
