Biography

Reza Davani is a partner at Ketterer Browne & Anderson and a true trial lawyer. The Maryland Association for Justice named him Trial Lawyer of the Year, a recognition that reflects his skills and success in the courtroom. Over the past ten years, he has personally helped injured victims and their families recover over $35 million in settlements and verdicts. Reza heads the firm's nursing home practice area, handling all aspects of litigation and trial. His results in this area include a $10 million verdict in a nursing home dehydration case, a $9 million verdict in a nursing home bedsore case in Baltimore County, and a $1.5 million verdict in Baltimore City. He has secured numerous other significant recoveries in nursing home abuse and neglect cases, as well as in trucking accidents, medical malpractice, and other personal injury matters. Reza is a sought-after national speaker on nursing home trial and case strategies, with speaking engagements in Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, and California. He has co-chaired the Nursing Home Section for the Maryland Association for Justice and is a constant student of the art—studying trial strategies, attending seminars, and always polishing his skills. Before joining the firm, Reza worked on both sides of the aisle, representing local, national, and international companies, governmental entities, and injured victims as both a plaintiff and defense lawyer. He has served clients in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts around the country. His experience spans complex litigation, product liability, commercial litigation, franchise disputes, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, whistleblower cases, medical malpractice, vehicle collisions, commercial truck and tractor-trailer crashes, boating collisions, and premises liability. Reza earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and also attended the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
