Robert L. Lovett

The founder of the Lovett Law Firm, Robert L. Lovett focuses his practice largely on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Located in El Paso, he represents clients throughout Texas as well as in New Mexico. Mr. Lovett majored in history and political science at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and he received a Bachelor of Science in 1991. He then pursued his legal education at Texas Tech University School of Law, serving on the school’s Board of Barristers before graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1994. Mr. Lovett became admitted to practice in Texas later that same year, and he is also admitted to practice in New Mexico as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. Mr. Lovett has represented numerous people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. He has worked on cases involving truck and other motor vehicle crashes, defective products, premises liability, and animal bites, and along the way, he has obtained significant amounts of compensation through jury verdicts after trials as well as through settlement agreements that he has negotiated.
