Biography

Attorney Robert M. Brinson is a founding partner of Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, LLP, in Rome, Georgia. Mr. Brinson handles a variety of matters in the areas of general business litigation, constitutional challenges, contract disputes, government law and personal injury. He has also handled class action lawsuits and has decades of experience being involved in complex litigation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Brinson has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts, including many personal injury and wrongful death trials for plaintiffs and defendants. He serves clients in Rome, Atlanta, Calhoun, Cartersville, Cedartown, Dalton and Summerville as well as throughout Bartwo, Floyd, Fulton, Gordon and Polk counties in west Georgia. Mr. Brinson has been licensed to practice law since 1963. He is admitted before all Georgia state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th circuits, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. An AV Preeminent* rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Brinson has received a variety of honors for his accomplishments. In addition to belonging to a multitude of professional organizations, he is an advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates and a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. He has also received awards from groups, including the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Bar Foundation. Mr. Brinson holds a bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
