Biography

Roger Futerman is a trial lawyer with over 25 years in good standing with The Florida Bar. He is licensed in both Florida State Court and Federal Middle District Court. He is a Former State Prosecutor, a Nationally Board Certified Criminal Attorney (certified by the NBTA), Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Florida Bar. Mr. Futerman is the 2025 Chair of the Committee for Board Certified lawyers in Criminal Trial. He was appointed by the Florida Bar President. He has been named one of the Best Defense Attorneys In The Tampa Bay Area. In 2013, he was named one of the Nation’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the Nations Trial Lawyers Organization. He was acquitted of possession of classified documents. Mr. Futerman is a nationally published author featured in “The Champion” June edition 2011 and was a legal analyst for NBC News Channel 8 Tampa Bay regarding the Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman verdicts. His cases and remarkable results have appeared on Fox, CNN, the Tampa Tribune, and The St. Petersburg Times.
