Rusty Galloway

Rusty Galloway is a founding partner of Galloway Jefcoat, LLP, a Lafayette, Louisiana personal injury law firm representing individuals and families injured due to negligence. He serves clients throughout Acadiana and across Louisiana. Rusty focuses his practice on personal injury matters, including auto accidents, trucking accidents, oilfield accidents, and maritime injuries. He has extensive experience handling complex injury claims and representing individuals following serious accidents. He was named a 2026 Super Lawyer, a distinction awarded to no more than 5% of attorneys in each state, recognizing professional achievement and peer evaluation. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 1995 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Rusty is admitted to practice in Louisiana and in multiple federal courts. Prior to practicing law, he worked in the oilfield as a roughneck and drilling fluid engineer.
