Sean Edgren

Sean Edgren is an associate attorney at Ganderton Law, where he serves as a tireless advocate for clients facing difficult legal cases. His practice encompasses personal injury, criminal defense, and divorce and child custody matters. Sean spent his early career helping clients who faced serious criminal charges. As an El Paso County deputy public defender, he advocated for individuals who lacked the means for private legal help. His criminal defense record comprises handling thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases, including obtaining more than 44 dismissals of charges and cases for his clients. He secured full acquittals at trial on various criminal charges ranging from misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases to theft, driving under the influence, and felony assault cases. Sean then spent a year and a half exclusively focusing on family law cases to hone his domestic relations practice before turning to personal injury. His family law experience includes successfully restricting a party's parenting time through an emergency motion due to emotional abuse of children, defending against a permanent protection order, prosecuting contempt of court matters, and arguing against imputation of income and marital waste allegations in dissolution and property division disputes. These experiences proved invaluable, as criminal law, family law, and personal injury often intersect. His tenure as a public defender and family law associate refined Sean's negotiation tactics and courtroom strategies—key skills for excelling in each of his three areas of legal practice.
