Biography

Shengyang Wu is a dynamic legal professional and a founding partner at Alpha Law LLC, located in Flushing, New York. His legal competence is centered on personal injury litigation, with a focus on cases involving pedestrian and motor vehicle accidents, construction-related injuries, premises liability and Article 78 proceedings against municipalities. Additionally, he is well-versed in labor and employment law, as well as construction law dispute resolution. In past 5 years, he represented the family members of victims in several notable fatal accidents. In 2022, represented the Estate of a senior citizen was struck and killed on South Avenue intersecting Forest Avenue, Staten Island; In 2024, represented the Estate of a 5-year-old boy run out between two vehicles and fatally struck by a car in College Point, Queens; In 2024, represented the Estate of one of employees, who was killed by a drunk driver crashing into a Nail Salon in Deer Park, Long Island. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Wu is deeply committed to community service. From the outset of his career, he has provided pro bono legal assistance, a commitment that was particularly noted during the COVID-19 pandemic when his efforts to support underserved minorities were recognized by the New York Law Journal. Prior to establishing Alpha Law LLC, Mr. Wu served as counsel at a prestigious plaintiff firm in Lower Manhattan. There, he championed justice for his clients across the supreme courts of New York City's five boroughs.
