Biography

Sheryl Dublin brings a multifaceted perspective to criminal defense, having traversed both sides of the legal spectrum–first, in criminal defense and, then, in prosecution. After several years as a criminal defense attorney with Jezic & Moyse, in 2021 Sheryl began serving as a prosecutor in the Special Victims and Family Violence Unit at the State’s Attorney's Office in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Barred in Maryland since 2018, Sheryl has since navigated over 4,000 criminal cases in District and Circuit Courts across 22 Maryland counties. Fluent in Spanish and having lived abroad in Argentina during undergraduate studies, Sheryl deeply values their ability to help people navigate the added layer of complexity that a language barrier can bring to a criminal case. With a repertoire of cases spanning complex gang-related First Degree Murder to delicate domestic violence and sex abuse cases, Sheryl's experience is as diverse as the charges they've tackled. DUIs, traffic offenses, protective order and peace order hearings, and Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) matters contribute significantly to Sheryl's portfolio of experience representing Marylanders in legal needs. As a Spanish-speaking attorney, Sheryl is adept at navigating clients through complex situations, including those involving Spanish interpretation, translation, and immigration concerns. Hundreds of interviews conducted in Spanish, combined with proficiency in reading and writing in the language, underscore Sheryl’s commitment to advocacy for all. "I had a serious criminal case in Prince George’s County and hired Jezic & Moyse to represent me. From the start, their team was professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. Ian handled my initial consultation and made me feel confident in my decision to move forward with the firm. Sophia, the paralegal, answered all of my questions with patience and clarity, which helped ease a lot of anxiety throughout the process. Attorney Sheryl Dublin represented me in court and secured a full dismissal of my case—an outcome that protected both my job and my future. I highly recommend Jezic & Moyse for anyone facing criminal, immigration, family, or traffic matters. Their dedication and results truly set them apart." - Angela Davis "Attorney Sheryl Dublin handled my traffic court case. Ms. Dublin exceeded my expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend Ms. Dublin and her law office if/when you are in need of representation." - C. T. While at the State’s Attorney's Office in Prince George’s County, Sheryl tried nearly 100 cases before juries and judges. The focus extended from domestic violence charges to an array of other crimes, including theft, robbery, revenge porn, trespass, and misuse of telephone. On a routine basis, Sheryl ran the domestic violence docket in District Court, demonstrating leadership not only in the handling of their cases, but in the inner workings of the courtroom.
