Taylor was born and raised in Southern Maryland.  He attended Waynesburg University where he obtained a degree in Human Services.  Upon graduation, Taylor attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated in 2019.  While in law school, Taylor was an Associate Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum and participated in the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law Student Trial Advocacy Competition.
