Biography

Candice is board-certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization While Candice has built a reputation for litigating excellent results for her clients in court, she knows that for many clients, a courtroom is the last place they want to end up in their divorce or custody dispute.  It was for this reason that Candice completed mediation training through the A.A. From 2009 to 2017, Candice worked at a premier family law firm in Houston, Texas handling complex property and custody matters.  In 2017, she joined and became a partner at another family law firm in Austin specializing in family law matters.  In 2023, Candice established Deyerle Silva Smith, PLLC so that she could continue to provide clients with exceptional legal services as a managing partner and owner.
