Tom has obtained nine class action settlements (including one for 4.1 million dollars in a contested certification proceeding) in California, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Louisiana and Tennessee. In 2009, Tom was reported to be the 13th ‘most active’ consumer attorney in the United States for that calendar year (representing 176 consumers in the federal courts alone) and in 2012, he was reported to be the 7th ‘most active’ consumer attorney in the country (representing 161 consumers in the federal courts alone). Tom has also been recognized as a Southern California “Super Lawyer” in the area of Consumer Law every year from 2015 through 2026.
