In 2017, Mr. Vela became a member of the Texas State Bar Paralegal Division and was licensed as an attorney with the Texas State Bar in 2019. Mr. Vela is a 6th generation direct descendant of Jose Antonio Navarro, an early advocate for Texans, and signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence.
