After graduating from Deming High School in southern New Mexico, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She then returned to New Mexico to attend the University of New Mexico School of Law. Further strengthening her expertise in tax law, Vickie earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University, one of the nation’s premier programs in the field.
