Sheila P. Hiestand

Known as “The Lady Litigator,” Sheila P. Hiestand is a partner at McCoy & Hiestand, PLC Attorneys at Law. As an athlete and a musician, the focus and determination she has developed transfer over to her professional work representing clients throughout Kentucky in matters of premises liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, and medical malpractice. Admitted to practice in Indiana, Tennessee and Kentucky as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States, Ms. Hiestand has over 20 years of experience obtaining favorable verdicts for clients who have been injured by another’s negligence. The former president of the Kentucky Justice Association, Ms. Hiestand has received many awards and honors. For her superior legal skills and her adherence to ethics, she has received the highest rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell. Before earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law, Ms. Hiestand graduated with Spanish and English degrees from Centre College.
